A very important lesson to use technology for is math. Writing problems on a dry erase board is not as attention capturing as using a projector. I would teach the kids addition and subtraction on a projrctor and solve the problems on a sheet with dry erase marker. After using many examples I would take the children to the computer lab to let them practice for themselves with an activity. I would set them up with a math blaster gameso they can further their skills.
http://www.lessonplanz.com/ This website is very disorganized. While it is make to help teachers find create lessons to teach it needs, it begins with edvertising for a newsletter and the links were not very clear. It should have linked lesson plans to subject area and then even further by grade level.
I feel very strongly about the value of a student completing their own work. In high school and college I turn my papers in through a website that detects for copyright infringement. Whe I am a teacher I will be sure to do an entire lesson plan on plagarism and stress its severity.
